Walkerville in the C grade have said no so the game is at Hopevalley who is in there zone, why cant the game be played at an oval closer to richmond oval. It is not very fair by the saafl.

That's a bit selfish on Walkerville's part, why would they deny their own players a chance to play on a league oval, just so the game is a bit closer to home?
Surely the SAAFL can just program the game at Richmond so Walkies have no choice? In the end it is the league's decision.

Athelstone had to pay an extra $500 in the process and only had a single game on the Sunday. Meant an extra days work for all our volunteers. Not ideal. Not exactly the same scenario as the GF one, but in the ball park. Me thinks a little bit of 'what goes around comes around'.
Having said that, I can understand SMOSH being a bit dirty with the league, it should have been a triple header.
