Doesn't seem to be a heap going on at the minute on the transfer front when it comes to EPL clubs. Given the deadline is much earlier this season and only 24 days away, we'd have to be getting close to a few rumoured transfer deals getting pushed through?
Liverpool played Bradford City in a pre-season friendly/charity match on Sunday...
Funds are being raised for the Darby Rimmer foundation which is raising funds for MND research.
Stephen Darby is an ex Liverpool player and was the captain of City when we had our History Makers team. He was diagnosed with MND last year and had to retire from football...
The good guys lost 3-1 but we were playing the European Champions
MND is such an horrific illness for anyone at any stage of life, but particularly upsetting when people so young take sick like that. Great that there was such a big turnout for the occasion.

They decide to not extend Rafa's contract, have a crack at getting big Sam and eventually, settle for Steve Bruce, who apparently will be paid more than Rafa. I'm not sure they are taking it seriously.

Was more excited about Ndombele's through ball to Lucas for the second.
At least the teams in the bottom half know there's only two relegation spots up for grabs. Norwich, Brighton, Sheffield Utd, Burnley etc would be loving Newcastle's mess.

There is even talk that Newcastle might get Andy Carroll back. Well passed his use by date.

EDIT: And just like that we officially sign Ndombele for a club record 65 million poind transfer.
Potentially coutinho and dybala coming in too!!! Imagine the strike force available if they do come... you won't have enough room for everyone and with Erickson being asked for by Manure it wouldn't surprise me if he went...

I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

The two clubs have agreed to a fee. But yeah, Spurs have now got to negotiate with Dybala. Apparently there's some issues with wages and image rights to be worked through.

Dybala apparently pleaded with the club not to sell him and was greeted a couple of days ago by thousands of fans cheering him at training. Will be a massive backlash of Juve members and supporters if he moves, they absolutely love him
No games on SBS this season. A bit sad but only impacts me if my son is using my login for optus. If anyone wants to watch a game that finishes before 2am the Halfway Hotel has them on the big screens
