I don't like the guy personally but the numbers don't lie and we're there to win games, all I can hope is that the recent events can turn some of these "unlikable" blokes into players that just go out there and get the job done.
Hats off to Warner for showing his pockets when he was getting sledged by the crowd, perhaps it took a big negative for us to become a positive.
We were always arrogant, we were always aggressive and played the game fierce, we lost track of that over the years and came across as front-running sooks, yes we bottomed out and copped some hidings for a little while but respect is earnt, not demanded.
Moving forward, we have another two openers waiting in the wings, a few middle/upper order batsmen, a couple of them can bowl, another keeper and another couple of front line bowlers, the bottoming out process has made the fight for a spot on the team alive and we can only prosper from it.

Early indications are that just maybe he has learnt from the lessons gone. Here's hoping anyway.
