Good luck to all playing in the grand final this week. Wish we (kenilworth) were there but not good enough this year.
I will be there watching. Go Heccies!
See you all next year.

well heccies tried really hard but when your up against a side that has four guys over 6 4 that can mark kick and run and are fit and train 4 nights a week , then fly guys fron the navy in darwin that played 4 games (or did they not really sure) to win a c grade grand final, the side was different to the golden gr game, well hope there happy. best team won on the day and at least we can say we gave our best shot and were out played by a superior a grade team in a c grade comp. well done flinders, hope your as proud as i was of my c grade side. thank you to all the other teams in this div the c grade teams that is, flinders GO GET ******. YOUR A MOB OF CHEATS, to everyone else thanks guys and hopefully flinders will go bust or go to div 7 and get killed.this is not sour grapes guys. we were the best c grade team in this comp. the crabs were easily the best a grade team. adios

On behalf of The Crabs; thanks to all you fellas and particularly Heccies for a good year's footy. The game was played in good spirits on Saturday, and there was a great crowd which was good to see.

At the start of the year we just didn't quite have the numbers for two teams which was disappointing, and the the SAAFL put us in C5 which was a few divs lower than where we wanted to be; but all you can do in such a situation is get on with it and play the best footy you can, which we think we did.

Getting a B-grade up and running is our #1 priority over the offseason, so hopefully we'll be back in Div7 for '08.

Cheers.

Well that would make some of the teams in div 7 happier, they need a few more teams in there.

If you make a comments get you facts right the player from Darwin played most of the year and he's not in Navy. It was almost the same team (2 changes) that played Golden Grove yeah the guy from Darwin played to they just played better than Hectorville did.
If it's not sour grapes why write such crap and you have got to train to win a premiership
And the word is there not much of that goes on your way!!!!!
2 nights a week is the norm maybe you can use that for 2008?
(4 nights training Uni guys get real mate) and its all C5 teams and Uni never played their best side till finals and some weeks they had up to ten changes and that from the club it all worked on a roster system so until the grand final you never once play the A side and 5 of them were 50/50 aren’t you luck it was only 14 goal if they been fit it may have been 20 + like in round 1
A better side beat you on the day so get over it!!
Premier 2007 C5 Flinders Uni !!!! well done !!!!!!
Good luck to the Uni boys on your win and your move to Div 7 in 2008 is just as good.I here you have lined up some good players to add to your team

yes crab walker you were right, best team won and im prob glad u didnt field your best side, that was def our best side and maybe i was a bit pissed off, but not nes for you guys. more the saafl coz every year they stuff up, when things look good they put in an uni A grade last year it was gepps x div1 A grade almost and it goes on and on, next year who knows. deep down if you guys wernt so damn good itll be a pleasure playing ag you all the time as you guys are complete ball players. so maybe it was a little sour to accept but thats what expectations do to you. i had to wear the brunt with some of my playerrs as well as the A grade football dir not minding his own bus. dont worry im over it and i got peeezed as a fart sat sun and mon. well done

Thanks gothebombers; good luck for next year too - Rosewater and Ingle Farm will go from Div4 to Div5 and Lutherans and Fitzroy will go to Div4; but it all depends on which teams have a C grade. If you boys get a D grade then we might see you in Div7!

There was no player from Darwin; he played the first half of the year then moved to Alice Springs, and then came back for the last few games. Get your shit together Crabwalker

I watched the game as a neutral observer and would have to say that flinders would be competitive in div c1 and about 30 times better than they were last year in division 8. Hectorville were unfortunate that they came against a team that had been put in a division based around results from last year when the flinders team improved dramatically through an influx of players over the summer.
Believe strongly that the crabs a grade would have been beaten by the c1 adelaide university side who played in the GF afterwards.
Bring on 2008.
