Good idea but for that to succeed you would think it would need to be heavily funded by the AFL, the entity which so many on here despise.
Yep cant see this getting off the ground without AFL endorsement and funds.
GIven reserves footy is not a priority for them compared to the Northern states and womens footy, this will remain at best a good internet discussion point, IMO.
Agreed, it would mark a major policy swing on their behalf to provide adequate funding to this idea.
It is a change in the script having a couple of clubs outside SA requesting it though, I imagine it would be mutually beneficial to all parties involved, so it'd be great if it could be realised.
I guess in some ways it's comparable to the failed NT bid a few years back, but sounds like a more plausible proposition.
