I have to say, based on reading my replies, I can see why Joe wants out.
He’s given the club 7 years and had his rehab botched by a negligent medical team.
Now, certain Bomber fans, and Dodoro, want Daniher held to ransom against his will.
Disgraceful.

Again, a lot of mis truths.
Joe and his manager have stated it’s purely a lifestyle choice and he wants to get out of the Melbourne bubble. He hates the media limelight and being harassed by them constantly which came to a head when he was meant to be in rehab for his surgery and one of the grubs filmed him downing pints with a few mates and plastered it in the papers.
As for the medical team who knows, perhaps things could have been differently. The club went and saw a specialist who initially recommended to avoid surgery (similar to Brad Crouch) and that rest, recovery and strengthening would fix it. When it flared up again they sought out a different specialist who recommended surgery and that’s where we sit currently.
Much the same as Papley, Hill, Howard, Bruce and a host of others he is contracted and a deal hasn’t yet been done. Doesn’t mean one won’t be but as a fallback option all those players can be held on to by those clubs. A deal will be done for Daniher, we will get less than we want and you will pay more than you want but Joe will get what he wants
