"Just saluting"

Finally getting some interior decorating finished. Some plastering, some painting, all been some time coming as we waited for some damp to subside from a bathroom that had become a constant source of moisture.

I rate the kids not wanting to go to the Christmas Pageant this year. Instead of getting up at 2am and saving a spot I'm sitting on the couch with a cuppa having just finished a huge steak for brekkie.

My girlfriend was up at 6.15/6.30 this morning to meet her sister and niece early enough so they could get a good park and then spot to watch the pagent. Insanity if you ask me, when my parents used to take my brother, sister and I we never got up super early.

What's worse is I saw a ShitAdelaide post where people were setting up their spot for the pagent at 7pm last night!

Actually getting a bat in a game yesterday, and spending some time in the middle. Vets game today, so long as the weather holds out, will be another opportunity. Captaining today so if I win the toss, we will bat & I will open.

Perth this time next week for the Vets Carnival..... can't wait!

The old girl across the roads reaction when I flicked on my christmas lights after putting them up today for the first time ever. She is the only one in the street who puts them up. It's just icicle lights hanging from the gutters but I can see myself going full Griswald.

Enjoying a tasty beer right now watching my good work :D
