surprised to see South flog Norwood last night, Norwood have been impressive with two wins so far and South got run over by Eagles.. still it doesnt mean anything at this stage

Yes I'm laughing my head off at the moment. Very happy with our win against the Dogs, Far too early to be getting carried away with it all. You are certain to be a much better side come round.1.

I wouldn't be quite so confident just yet giffo. Another season, anyone can win. I do beleive in miracles. It would be nice to knock you off in the GF.

Here we go the final ladder for the trials is in. A few surprises, bearing in mind it's early and I would be expecting a few changes to this ladder when the season officially kicks off.

POS W L PTS %
1 Eagles 3 0 6 60.63
2 West 1 1 4 56.94
3 North 2 1 4 56.09
4 South 2 1 4 52.93
5 Norwood 2 1 4 43.16
7 Central 1 2 2 46.25
6 Port 1 2 2 43.16
8 Sturt 1 2 2 40.53
9 Glenelg 0 3 0 41.39

Surprised to see Westies finish second, but then again they were given 2 charity pts for the fact they only played 2 trials in comparison to 3 played by all other clubs. To go along with this I thought I might open up a debate on what people's predictions are for the league ladder at end of minor round. I'll start by giving you my predictions:
1 Eagles
2 North
3 Centrals
4 Port
5 Norwood
6 South
7 West
8 Sturt
9 Glenelg

I know I have made a few predictions already but this is my final set of predictions before season start and has been made with the benefit of tracking trial results etc.

Its scary because its true. I still remember clearly last year when the Dogs got beaten by the Bays and Norwood in consecutive weeks.
Everyone was writing off the Dogs, I thought I'd give it one more week before I did. They never lost a game for the rest of the year.

Thats right. Don't spend all your petrol at the start of the race. It's whats in the tank in October that counts.
