There ya go Sus, you only have to convince Norwood and Sturt fans, not North fans! :)

North have no problem in the midfield, they are a quality side.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

sus wrote:I could list each midfielder from North head to head with teams like CDs, Eagles, and Norwood even - but its pointless because it all comes down to opinion. And in my opinion North Adelaide has a weak midfield. Compared to other teams they lack depth, talent, balance and work ethic. That's my opinion and whether North supporters agree or not only time will tell I guess.

At least that was a reasonably sensible reply. Your right though sus - time will tell along with luck re injuries - but you could apply that rational to all sides though. Still it is your opinion and your entitled to it.

Time to get over it Wedgie, other people tipping your club to win the flag and to do it comfortably really isn't a big deal. We all have our favourites and reasons why and I don't think its that out of this world. Could be worse, it could be the spoon. Just be grateful your team is in a position to do so, no one will turn it back onto you later in the year if it doesn't happen. Just means people that made the prediction are bad judges. :D

Westies wont be close to the spoon, I've said that all along, that spot is safely tied up by another club, that's pretty obvious.

I'm not turning - just being realistic. Injuries are not an excuse but could hurt putting our best defence on the park at this stage of the season but the mental application by North yesterday (especially the midfield for 2 and half quarters) was poor having said that take nothing away from West who played well with a few players to come back in. North has a history of inconsitency and we need to get over that if we really think we can be a contender. I'm not so sure at this point but I am hoping we will finsih top 3 at the end of the minor round. As I said before time will tell.

well i would say north have to gel together first.the forward line structure looked great, just have to learn how to get out of each others way.will be worked out and also cox to take over chb when fit will harden us up down there .as 4 the midfield ,lol not exactly scrubbers. 1 more thing 2 years ago i walked into the ground on a saturday not confident in winning at all.now i expect to win every game since jarman took over. that man has changed everything around and made my saturdays far more enjoyable . my expectations are top 3 this year .

For what it's worth I also reckon North are red hot for the flag this year. They're experienced, have easily the best forward line in the comp, got depth as the results of their juniors last year suggests and have recruited up the wazzoo. What's not to like about them this year?
