Intresting to see North has not beaten Centrals twice in a row since 92/93

No worries, it was the only part of your comment that was crazy hence our bamboozlement!

As I said previously Dogs fans have every right to be confident, there's no probs with that. North supporters are still getting over the last 2 victories which were amazing.

About as interesting a fact as the one that Central haven't won a 2nd semi final or a premiership after losing a game at Prospect during the year.

(ie not at all)

Actually with the dogs potentially not playing much over the last month of the season it will be the first half that will be the time for whoever we play to make a statement. The second half our legs should be much fresher and allow us to run harder than the other 3 teams. However, should we go down this week it won't matter because we'll have 2 finals matches under our belts before playing the GF (unless we lose both games and don't even make it!). Logic suggests dogs should win this week and then again in the GF, but footy doesn't always follow logic.

Looking forward to seeing Callinan at 100% for the first time in a couple of months.

I thought it was the last game you played?

Does that mean Sturt, Port, South, Norwood and West are all as good as their trial game in February or March 2008?
That means Norwood must be currently pretty crap as it'll probably be against the Crows!

Funny that Dog_ger, Ive always thought the saying was "You're only as good as you're last game".
If you're only as good as your next game then Sturt are premiers the way their fans talk them up.

Ahh, if only the world's logic was according to Dog_ger, it would be a fun place to live.

Locky, we have won two premierships before fairly similar scenarios (byes in round 22 or 23). If anyone can handle this situation, we can. However, will we?

The saying is you're only as good as your last game but playing well last week doesn't kick goals this week.

RR

9pm Friday? Well, we still were in the finals either way and have a strong list as has been proven since so I was still confident we could progress ....

TBH, I read Wedgie's post too quickly and thought he was talking about Roosters fans writing the team off a few weeks earlier ... which most were!
