Fortunately, I've always kept a spare 12 pack in each bathroom cupboard and managed to pick up another couple of 6 packs at the local Woolworths

All the cheap stuff was gone but some 3-ply and 4-ply was still there. After that it may be back to newspaper like in my childhood, thanks to the free local paper...

I have also noticed this. Just about everytime I've looked for dry pasta all the $1-$2 brands are gone but the organic stuff slightly more expensive is still there. Budget savvy Preppers.
