just got it btb, no need to post.

agree with you AG that legend one of those great characters of racing, need more of them...wasn't insuating that the axeman jumped at all, why would he on a 40/1 shot?

maybe we should compare our best "drunk jockey" stories, ie the marks brothers and an airport incident! what do you think btb, ag and trr?

ol - the number of horses going around that are slaughtered by the jocks leads me to believe that there are a truck load of them riding under the weather beacause they surely can't be that bad at what they do and heaven help us all if there was some other reason ???

Steiger 2 posts maybe enough for you. There is enough people on this site with no idea, with to much to say. But apologies if you have won numerous races while riding from seemingly impossible postions and tried to push yourself courageously through gaps that aren't there. Slaughtering horses would not be in the best interest of any jock, shit rides leads to losing rides, lost rides leads to no payday. Give it to him axeman. Axe my managing fee is due to rise.

That one takes a lot of beating OL...but in fairness, how were they to know that the plane that pulled up alongside of them was full of Star Force officers.....very funny.
DC was banned from coming to PL after an incident on the flight back to Adelaide after races here. Had more than a few and needed to relieve himself in a hurry. Opened the door as soon as the plane pulled up and ran off to find the nearest point of relief...propellors going full tilt....the airport security took a dim view of him on that one. Had to drive over here a couple of times for rides after that...

Copey is a great fella and a very good judge of horses. Still the best track work rider I have seen in Port Lincoln. Also a part owner of Sunny Diva so well done.

firstly I did not.. and never would jump off a horse... think about it would you like to jump off in the middle off a pack off 500kg+horses waiting to get hammered.. I think not.. I lost my right side iron out of the gates and tried to get it back to no avail.. the S Mont story, shes had glandgela fever recently (don't mind spelling) and been very crook.. found it bit tough getting down to the weight and made the PROFESSIONAL decision to pull the pin.. Eski, your managing fees are over priced as it is so keep dreaming budday... when you actually know where a coronet band is on a horse, then maybe I'll think bout it 8).. as for my views on sundays racing... mixed results... 3.30 would have been enough to go to the bank for a loan... 330% interest is pretty fair these days... class 3 1750 saw a terrible ride get sandview beaten.. was jumping to 58kg... rider got lost at the 700, got dragged back to last, horse did an amazing job to pick itself up and hit the line, beaten a length!!!.. class 2 1000m was a good race and the form WILL stack up, any one on course on sat would have seen Rough sea was underdone and badly in need of a run, presonally would have laid it for plenty, certainly best horse in the race and you'll see that next start I feelo... think its about time Smont was given a crack, second up, with a claim.. enough said.. wedding gift a massive run.. ( looked a treat in the yard), dropping back from 1400m to a 1000m which doesn't suit and got nailed on the line, big run and bold honour racing consistenly... class 3 1350, think should be very wary of the form outta that race... Kendite raced flat, winner is a hit and miss type runner, and was slowly run... not a strong race overall.. The open sprint was good race, be fair to emu walk, she's only little and had to work to get across from the outside, and was going 6weeks between runs.. maybe a claim would have helped her too being an on pace runner!! ;), boy john racing in great form, and eagle juan put in much better performance.. well enough has been said about the cup...

Proffesional PL punter Mick McMahon won $20,000 at the track on Sunday - not a bad days work!
Devlino is spelling and will be set for bigger and better things next season according to AM last night - very pleased with her run in MM - rider said it was looking for distance

Back on deck after quite a large weekend!! Congratulations to the Tasman boys, depth prevailed and they got the job done. We aren't too dissapointed, we played as well as we could have and didn't quite get there. As Scoob said, at least we made them earn it!!

On to the footy, MR ins and outs that I know of Bridey

In - Ackland, Brooks, Matt Parker, Haydn Parker, Jarrod Doudle

Out - T Smith, W Smith, T Hull, J Barnett, P Boxer, E Whillas

I'm sure there are some on both lists I've missed, help me out if you can or I'll update as they come to me.

Love it TRR, not much to report?? Schuppan not much hey, or Duncans mates who I've heard some rumblings about??

Ol there is no way Mick McMahon would have won $20 k, and pro punter is a load of crap, your obviosly a troll! Devlino not looking for distance it stops at 900m as if shot!
Race caller was a joke on Sunday calling Boy John the winner when it was obvious that Fullarton Road had got up on the line. Emu Walk was ultra dissapointing TA, no excuses there buddy! What are the noms like for Penong TA got any good rides?

Waybacks are just trying to play it down they will win the flag! MP lost 11 players they can be written off! We are struggling, we need numbers, plenty of fisherman to come into the side later hopefully.
Axon ,there were Bets taken on betfair for your horse to loose is that were that big Pro Punter made his $20,00 did u go halves with him? Oooops I slipped!!!

by golly some people talk crap on here... for a start mick mac is not pro punter,.. doens't mind a bet yes... secondly didn't win 20000, think you might have added a 0 on the end there... bookies won't hold bets anywhere like that here if you hadn't noticed... secondly RM, you got any idea on racing?? see what the time was for the 1000m on a disgraceful track... 58.6!! that's nearly the fastest 1000m run here all year if not the fastest on a chopped up track, and your telling me from the outside gate didn't do any work?? please... think you better upgrade your form skills budday... but sack it if you must, think you'll find that horse will repay the faithful, as for A Morrison's 2yo, will get away with a race or 2 here over the next couple seasons, but it will always struggle in adelaide against any grade.. and as for the betfair comment, interesting how you know what bets were taken on there??... absolute rubbish again, no person with an IQ higher than 40 would either A: back a Bao Lack horse under 3000m... or B offer anything other than $1.00 for it to not run a place... I rest my case... Axe
