Even before Jars' ankle that's not such a glowing endorsement.

Both would probably still have a significant say in a match if they were out there, like really in their prime neither was really known for their pace, its was all skill, bit like myself really

They would have a big say. A big say in North losing miserably!

Please North let them play.

Not really. Pretty confident, but there's a chance we'll lose. However, should a pair of Jarmans stroll onto the park our chances would increase dramatically.

yeah very true, lots reckon this game is a forgone conclusion with the doggies winning easy, I see it as 50/50 at the minute, I just want to see a great game of footy without those idiots in white having any influence or those nappie munchers from weslo trying to upset the supporters on both sides. Both sides here have the most passionate supporters in the Sanfl and I reckon probably more passionate than some clubs in the AFL At the end of the day, the side that takes and makes the most of it's chances will win it. I can't see it being a blow out either way but then I have been wrong before if only once :D

Dogs are certainly more likely to win, based on history or who wins the second semi, dogs better season and the dogs good record against North. But whatever teams line up against each other there will be 21 good players on each team, and not one isn't capable of a big impact on the game. Neither team is without chance.

Actually the best thing about being ultra competitive is that if we do lose a final this season I know we'll be there again next year. It's not like it feels like this will be our chance at last so it's easier to just enjoy it rather than worry about it if you know what I mean. In 95/96 it was so nerve wracking because you never knew when the next chance would be.

Mate I have been like that the last few years, I thought last year was our best chance and we blew it big time, 3 to 4 weeks ago I thought oh well he comes an elim final and the end of the season, but we are still in the race, I am just looking forward to a blockbuster game this week, weathers gunna be great hopefully around 20,000 there, great atmosphere, could be a great showcase for the SANFL, and I reckon the 1st game will be a beauty as well

Please don't mention "Port" "Grand Final" and "2 years in a row" in the same sentence......
