LMA wrote:whufc wrote:Does anyone know what the percentage tax rate is when you cash out long service leave?
I thought I heard once it was 49% but I could be completely wrong.
My understanding is it will be treated as normal income tax unless a redundancy or termination has occured. An increase in percentage depends if it puts you into the next tax bracket. The most you'll pay is 45% if that given pay period times the amont of pay periods per year equates to over $180000 per annum. Go to pay calculator and add the Gross total of LSL to your normal wage and pay cycle.

It’s just for personal use not a redundancy or anything

LMA was right, I got stung at tax time a couple of years ago cashing it in.

Might push you into a higher tax bracket too

Is there still one in Paralowie? From memory that was a 9 hole course.

Just searched and it's still operating.

AP is running months behind. Freight records are being broken daily and some weeks they are moving as much as they would in a month. Just simply not the capacity transport wise to get it here and there is a huge backlog at PDC’s when it does get here. Posties are working 7 days and still not putting a dent in itThe Bedge wrote:How long does it normally take for postage from NSW?
Ordered something online Tuesday last week - track and trace is useless and hasn't been updated since then.

Penfield golf club whilst not being a par 3 is a nice 9 hole course that looks fairly busy whenever I drive past

Yep, Valley Viewed yesterday, great course for kids, and yes, Penfield is still happening.
I just wanna have a few hits on the Par 3's with my son before taking him to a full sized course.
So far I've found:
Valley View
Little Para
North Adelaide
Glanville (possibly)
It's about the only thing we can do atm.
