Been arrested and charged with murder another 3 to be arrested as well
all the riots couldve been avoided if they did this 3 days ago.
I still have a feeling he has only been charged to keep the masses happy and in a few weeks or months time the charges will be dropped
Isn't murder an Intentional act to kill?
Wouldn't manslaughter be a more appropriate charge? Surely this cop didn't intentionally kill him ?

I thought he was busted using a counterfeit $20 note.Trader wrote:I believe he's been charged with murder in the 4th degree, which is also known as involuntary manslaughter, which, in short is a death that results from a lack of intention to cause death, however involves an intentional or negligent act leading to the death.
I think it will be fairly easy for that to be proven to be the case, as the complete lack of compassion for the man he was restraining was at a minimum negligent.
Not sure what protection he will get under the fact he was "doing his job" - albeit extremely poorly. Will there be something they hide behind in terms of he wasn't adequately trained to handle the situation? I suspect they will try and find something to get him off.
As for the victim himself, I heard he was being investigated for fraudulent purchases. Something along the lines of handed over a $10 and pretended it was a $20 when he paid for his groceries. Some claim it was a mistake by him, police are saying they were investigating. Kinda **** up if he's dead and it wasn't him, or even if it was, and it was just a fact of him grabbing the wrong note out of his wallet.

Horrible way to die and hopefully the 4 other cops that were helping to pin him down face trial aswell

I think the US were down this path long before Trump got there.Q. wrote:jackpot jim wrote:And as for all the rioters looting and burning down buildings and businesses that have nothing to do at all with the incident, well it sort of tells me that society is pretty well screwed
DIdn't take long for Trump to turn the US into a Failed State. The shooting at and arresting of reporters sums up where that country is right now.
