A pretty disappointing result for United yesterday. Conceding early wins in a short season are very crucial for a coincidence boost and now sitting 0-2 and the next 4 games before their bye are Two Wells, Virginia, Angie Vale and Hamley could possibly be 2-4 and finals pretty close to being done and dusted.

Does anyone know how many players Bute have picked up as 0 pointers from the YPFL?
Was it United not playing well or did Bute have a very solid outfit?

Bute will push the top sides in the junior grades ( they may even be the top side) their kids (the ones playing for them anyway) are massive.
Based on my experience of going there once, let's bring them in permanantly.
Also how good is it that they sell beers in stubbies, very trusting of them!

As far as coaches go as a non playing coach he will be a dying breed anyway with all “playing coaches” making their mark on country footy
Non playing coaches will never have the opportunity to build a club over a period of time
