I haven't seen an Arsenal game this year, but they're going down in a fortnights time when the EPL resumes    , but Liverpool have been outstanding, and would have to be early favorites to take it out.

Have certainly looked good early mate, but there's a long way to go and most in the squad wouldn't be used to being the hunted rather than the hunter.

Also interesting to note that in the 2nd half of the season we face the big 3, Chelsea, Man U and Francenal all AWAY from home.

Great to see how we're travelling (still would have liked the other 2 points we earnt imho in the Chelsea game) at the moment, but I don't think any Liverpool fan will be satisfied unless we're in the same position at the end of the season.

You would have them but for that idiot Rob Stiles.

Watched Liverpool demolish Derby. Now I realise that Derby are in for a bit of a pasting from a few other sides this year, but it was interesting to see that Liverpool just kept gooing for the jugular. In the past they have been happy to go 1 up and play off that. It's that killer puch they have been missing.

Pool are a real threat to the big 2 IMO.

Hope so mate ... As I'm sure you Rooster fans would understand (not a dig btw), you don't acknowledge or celebrate anything until it's all done and dusted and you're team is number 1.

Thank God it's AFL finals time! And there's always the good old A League.

Personally, I'll be spending the week in Portugal.

Howdy fella's

Regular viewers and posters will know that I like to keep everyone up-to-date with results etc but due to mum being in hospital it has been a bit difficult timewise.

Sadly, we found out that mum has alzheimers so she won't be getting any better. Thanks for all the kind words on here and pm's, they are appreciated.

The family, that is Mrs JTC, me and the kids have decided that it is better to only visit mum once a week but in rotation so Mrs JTC and me go once a week, and the boys go once a week each so she gets 3 visits. I know to some that might sound a bit clinical but if any of you have ever had 1st hand experience of Alzheimers, I think you would understand why.

I will try to be a bit more forthcoming with the news from old blighty.

Cheers JTC

Had to get a quick UEFA Cup update in:

Spurs 6 - Anorthosis Famagusta (Cyprus) 1 - COYS!!! Jermain Defoe with one of the classiest goals you'll ever see, just casually chipped over the keeper from 25 yards. Jermain Defoe is YIDO!

Everton 1 - Metalist (Ukraine) 1 - Everton missed 2 penalties (yes two!!!) to fail to take an advantage to the Ukraine in a fortnight.

Rabotnicki (Macedonia) 1 - Bolton 1 - Bolton continue their premiership form in Europe. Still in a better position to qualify than Everton and especially Blackburn.

Larissa (Greece) 2 - Blackburn 0 - Shocking effort by Blackburn who played a pretty much full strength side. LOTS of work to do at home to qualify.

Will get a UEFA Champions Leage/UEFA Cup threat set up soon lads and start pulling my weight from the Football epicentre of the world - or so the London press would have everyone believe!

I've still got some pics to upload from my EPL travels too!

OK, couldn't help myself with this one.....AFL meets EPL.

Got some very weird look from the Spurs fans I was sitting with. Fortunately, nobody had a go at me for sacrilege!
