There was no argument, just some unwarranted abuse.
If I'm out and about on my phone and see something that deserves a ban I'll just hit the ban button and fix up the period when I get home as I did in this case, LMA got the same ban for the same reason too. Both were in August so should be back soon enough if they're apologetic and improve their behaviour. Here's a screenshot of the offending posts:

An 11pm post on a Saturday night.. why not delete the posts, issue a 24hr ban and send the bloke a courtesy message indicating that sort of language and behaviour isn't appropriate, instead of ruling with an iron fist all the time.

Yep, that was a total slap in the face, especially to the mod team, handled very poorly.

Basically gave privileges to the ones who couldn't abide by the site rules and allowed people to go to town on other posters with the blessing of admin.
