I'd advise downloading the scan thing beforehand to save 10 minutes upon entry.

Div 2 Reserves G/F

Henley 10.5 65

Broadview 9. 10 64

Bloody great game of footy to watch, feel for Boxy and the lads at Broadies, gave everything they had and can hold their heads high

The B Grade was an exceptional game to watch

A Grade was also a great game. SHOC nearly pinched it

What a terrific game that was. Scores level at the last change and they went goal for goal with 6 or 7 lead changes in the last qtr. Henley were in front at the final siren, but it could've gone either way. Well played both teams.
In the A grade game, TTG seemed to be in control until early in the third qtr. They were cutting up SHOC with their spread and ball use, but SHOC lifted, their mids led by Spurling and Angel got on top and their talls were giving Gullies plenty of trouble. In the end Gullies were able to do just enough to hang on.

3 cracking games Henley v Broadies have had. All 3 could’ve gone either way. I’m just glad they went my way. Being down by 14 points at half time the lads dug deep. That last qtr was one of the best qtrs I’ve coached in, Goal for goal. When we hit the front with 4 to go, we somehow found a way to hold on.
Had a chat to Boxy after the game. Quality fella!!! They will be around the mark for a while. Good young group of kids.
Broadies had a huge following on Saturday. Somehow my wife and friends ended up next to them as Broadies supporters congregated next to where she was sitting.,
Defo took a while to take it all in as it was such an intense game of footy. To go through undefeated and win a grand final by a point I’ll take that everyday of the week!!!

Can anyone from Henley tell me how Joel Harvey-Friel goes? I noticed he played in the A's a bit more this season opposed to previous years.

I have no friends. I know the lad and played a lot of footy with his old man who was probably the best junior footy player I ever seen.

Goes pretty well. Needs to work on his kicking but is a very good contested midfielder. Has played some very good football in the ressies and has struggled when gone up to A Grade, mind you he played a different role in the A Grade than the role he has played in the Ressies

Cheers, comes from a good stock, a bit of AFL history in the family, ripping young lad.
