Utter twaddle. If Rudd wins he will have carte blanche to appoint his ministry as he sees fit. He will have a prodigous amount of goodwill within the party as he would have been the person almost single handedly repsonsible for leading the ALP to victory. To suggest otherwise is just part of the Libs scare campaign.

Lismore's The Northern Star newspaper reported:
"Mr Shorten told his audience that after the election Labor would use the goodwill generated during the campaign to re-unionise Australia, beginning with the bush." (The Northern Star 26/9/07)
Mr Shorten's comments echo those of fellow Labor candidate and former union official Greg Combet, who said:
"I reckon we used to run the country a while back. I reckon it wouldn't be bad if we did run it." (ABC 26/6/06)

Incorrect. If you saw the news last night you'd have seen Rudd announcing that under him he'd be the one chosing the frontbench.
I'd actually prefer caucus chosing it but that's by the by.

I was put on an awa recently, it stipulated that I work 7.30- 4.00 , mon- fri, that is what my salary is based on. At last count I am working from 7-6 ,mon-fri and still being paid for 7.30- 4.00. I could do what my former workmate did and complain, but as you may have guessed he is no longer with us.....
How the hell can a young couple enter a mortgage with sort of insecurity.

I have recently signed up on an AWA and let me tell you with all of the negative things I had heard about them I was a bit worried. However I, and many of my coworkers, have managed to negotiate with my employer a much better deal than I was previously on under any award. He could not afford to lose any of us and came to the party.
