Using the ladder predictor paired with my poor tipping skills I have the table looking like the following at the half way point:
PAOC 16
GS 16
SPOC 14
BB 12
ROC 8
PNU 8
TTG 8
PD 4
Uni 4
UMJ 0
I won't be surprised if Unley causer an upset before then though.

PNY will need to get some players back this week or they could get beaten by Uni. If that happens they'll turn 3 and 6, which makes finals a difficult proposition.

It was reported on here that SPOC were also banged up after the PNU game and assume those 3 were part of that. I didn't hear anything on Saturday as to what or how severe the injuries were to those guys. SPOC shouldn't lose any friends from Saturday's performance. It was an arm wrestle all day with Brighton just finishing the stronger.

Add to that, in rounds 3 and 6, three teams defeated opponents above them on the ladder, it happened twice in round 5.
The numbers spell out a great comp considering Uni and UMJ only have a win between them, both have been extremely competitive at times and I can see them getting a big scalp or two along the way.

Well, you were right about Unley claiming a big scalp .... they don't come much bigger than the reigning premiers.
