Yeah 40 would be the least I'd like... doesn't seem right with 24.
The Modbury usually gets over 70 odd... sometimes 90 to 100

Once I know about the real $$$ prizes at the Palais on Tuesday nights I'll let ya's know.

At the moment I think its going to be $200 for first and $50 for second.

With $1000 for the venue winner (Maybe $750 first, $ 250 second)

Well it's free in the fact you can play without paying to enter.

But if you want more people in your venue... you offer some prize money.

Money will mean more people will come... which means more bar/food turnover on a usually dead night.

Palais currently gets around 40 runners... the new owners want around 100+. So he's splashing a bit of cash in to get extra people in.

He'll make the money back in extra turnover through the bar (drink cards help this). Should be good :)

Technically yes - but having to pay money for chips (through drinks) is a nice way around it.

Basically, it's $20 entry (or something similar) and you get free drinks.

Not at the Lakes ... $10 per stamp x 8 = $80 ... Stamps can only be earnt through certain drinks and meals (that appear on the stamp approved list) or through TAB and Keno .. Apparently much cheaper elsewhere so will be interesting to see if they come to the party tonight at the launch of season 2.

The lakes is the most expensive one, but they have added prize like monthly winners etc.

The cheapest is the crows tavern, bottle of 300ml coke ($2.90) gets you 2 stamps. So for $12 you get a full card.

Most other places go on the $3 per stamp rule.
