Apparently much cheaper elsewhere so will be interesting to see if they come to the party tonight at the launch of season 2.

LOL!
That's just wrong.
This is what I do at the Modbury:
"Can I have a glass of Jacks, and a bottle of coke?"
Then I pay $9.60 and get four stamps.
Then after I finish it, I still have coke left, and ask for another jacks. I pay about $6 - $7 so under $16 in total.
Another full card.

Managed my highest place of 2nd from about 65 runners last night ... Had a lucky night, flopping a fullhouse and a flush early in the process and jagging a straight when my life was on the line.
Limped into the final table as did the bloke next to me (eventual winner) and the pair of us went heads up for about 10 hands before I busted ... Didn't have a card higher than a 10 in those hands lol but neither did the other lad ... Hand after hand we're both going all-in with rubbish, was a good laugh.

Last night 10th at Roulettes.
I'm not upset about that as 10th at Roulettes is the same points as first in most places!
138 starters last night.

I could have got higher but eh ...
Had about $16k and was first to act. Everyone on the last few hands had folded, letting the blinds shoot it out, or the BB taking the SB.
I had AQ so I went all in (BB was $6k)
I had THREE callers. Wtf!? I got up and watched. Couldn't sit.
Flop was 2 4 7. Turn was a Queen. YES!
River was a 10. Good.
I turned over AQ... top pair top kicker. Other guy folded after a bet on the flop. Other guy had A 10.
YES!
Small blind turned over pocket KINGS.
So that guy went to the final table (that was 10th) with god knows how much, over $50 or $60k.
Still, at that point you have to do something!
I did make someone lay down AA earlier though, making him think I had a straight going all in... and I turned over A 8 (8 was top pair on the board) hehe.

When is everyone playing? I know the State Top 50 is in the afternoon group now, which should make the morning group a bit easier.

Yeh same, 9am registration to be finished by 10.30am for 11am start.
So get registered and then sit around for 2 hours until we play. Play until 2.30pm or so, then have to wait till the other flight is finished (6.30pm) and then start again.
Gonna be 2 very long days if you can go deep into the tournaments.
