I think Rushby got Cambell and his brother Calzy mixed up when it comes to who's a photographer. I've never seen any of Campbell's work but Calzy's work is sensational!

There was an unofficial Glenelg forum about 7 or 8 years ago that i used to go on, and it was pretty good. Plenty of supporters would post their comments and we could repley just like this one, then they tried to change it but i cant remember how and almost over night it was gone. I never bothered with the internet forums again until a mate showed me this one, and from here i discovered the Snouts and they are both good reading. :D

I'll have a crack

1. Wedgie Who? Ranked way too high. Prone to mood swings. Takes a good photo though.
2. Borat Who? Ranked way too high. Prone to mood swings. Crap at photos and understanding footy. Sometimes funny, sometimes a troll, sometimes an idiot.
3. CA One of the team behind Footysa about 5(?) seasons ago. Not sure if safooty would be as big if footysa hadnt started. Top bloke. Has a love/hate relationship with Norwood.
4. Spell_Check No explanation necessary. Only one to be directly quoted in the Sunday Mail?A nerd.
5. Mal Mr Football. Sneaks into winning teams change rooms and pretends he barracks for the Bays.Non de' Plume of Gorgeous George.
6. Nai See CA. And also set up and hosts the Snout's site. Avid Bay fan.
7. Drebin/BPBRB Mr "tell it like it is". Not afraid to offend his club! Always a must read.

13. Sturt_Peter. The special friend of safooty. Curious type. ANy truth in the rumour that........?
14. Jimmy. Passionate Sturt Fan who lives in NY. I saw a post from Jimmy on a VFL board today. Why?
15. Coorong Who? Is he still alive? Abrasive type and can upset anyone if he tries. And proud of it. Won a bottle of Scotch from me in a bet 3 seasons ago. I hate that.
16. REB. A troll of the highest order. Footysa only.
17. DG See CA and Nai. Doctor of computer stuff. (dead set)
18. Punk Rooster. Burns peoples houses down. Types tough. Is quite cuddly in real life. the Bays are his second team.
19. Valleys_Virgin Controversial poster, has brought down at least 4 board members and 2 coaches thru his posts alone. Must read!

In my 1st 8 months on here, my list of most enjoyable posters in no particular order:

Mal - great SOH
Dutchy - intelligent and subtle SOH
Sydney-Dog - crows man and a guy who knows his footy
Blue Boy - passionate SANFL and AFL supporter
1980TM - wisdom and a great mod
Wedgie - not afraid to have an opinion and stick up for what he believes in, runs a great site
Spelly - always happy to contribute quality info
Constance_Perm - reckon he would be a great guy to meet, very fair and balanced
Dog_ger - deep soul
smac - another smart one, knows his footy
redden whites - gives me the sh*ts sometimes but good SOH
REB - clashed early with REB when I didn't understand his stirring but a great contributor
Dissident - sensible guy by the sounds

I also have to say its great to see the support given on here when someone needs it.

I regret some of the clashes I have had with some posters at times in hindsight. You probably know who you are!
In between signatures .....

Can I just state that people give me way too much credit and I don't deserve it.

I started this site up when Footysa closed down its forums merely because I didn't want to lose people online like I'd witnessed at other online communities.
If I'd just run this site it would have died in the arse within 3 months.
This site is the best site in the world for 4 reasons:
1) Footysa, the main reason I named this site SAFooty was to show that it only came about as a result of Footysa and the champs that made and ran that side (CA, DG, Biggs, Nai and the mods they had)
2) The SAFooty community
3) The Moderators
4) The SANFL, they have been great in supporting this site through giving us just as much access to media releases and events as any other media medium.
The only credit I can claim is for appointing the best lot of people from supporters of all club to run this site. They often keep me in line and do 99% of the work and if it wasn't for the mods this site would have died in the arse many moons ago.

Some good lists here, thanks for the compliment Hondo, it's definitely reciprocated.

Some advice I would offer to ALL users, try to arrange and take the time where possible to catch up, even just briefly, with as many users as possible in the flesh ... Often the insight on a person you gain in those moments, no matter how brief, contribute to understanding the direction some of their posts might be coming from.

I know I've been far more relaxed and understood the tone of of message from some posters far better after meeting them than when I'd first commenced online.

At the end of the day we all love our clubs too much to agree with everything thats written, and we'll all still fire up at times, but often the views of others awake thoughts of our own that didn't previously exist.

OK, that's my sensible comment(s) for the weekend, time to open a Stub! :D
