The original point of this exercise, was to show how much of a joke the paper prices are.

My comments stand though, as you didn't sledge Mal for make believe bets, but for how long it's taking him to "win" 700K....

Just for the record it is a 12 month challenge ending MARCH 6 IN 2008
So ive been on the challenge for only just over 7 months
I have deliberately bet within limitations.
There are no extravagent $50,000 bets at all
These are realistic bets which strong bookies around Australia would be able to hold.
I think the biggest bet I have had is about $15000 a win [and it lost from memory]
Personally I think I have proven so far to be a very astute punter in this challenge
The enourmity is I had $5000 to start with and have now got $700k +
The paper consistently bets between 130-150% to further emphasise my very good effort so far.

CHALLENGE
CENTREMAN why dont you start with $5000 over 12 months starting whenever you are like
If you can get to a million I will buy you a carton of beer if you get there
I have one limitation you can not bet over $15k on any one bet
It would be a lot of stuffing around, but would understand if you didnt do it.
