Each club may have a number of players unavailable due to being in isolation either as a close contact or with a positive PCR. SACA have the opportunity to move over the next 24 hours and ascertain the number of players unavailable and then work with the GCC to make a decision. These are not usual circumstances and they require SACA to focus on achieving a solution that will maintain the integrity of the competition, having large amounts of games being impacted and possible forfeits is not what we want to see for the betterment of grade cricket in SA.

If we're going to let COVID numbers dictate community level sports we won't be playing any games for the remainder of the season.
the SA Government knew what we were in for on November 23 when they opened the floodgates, this was apparently why we were all told to get double jabbed, now we've taken 8 steps backwards as a community with no end game, no light at the end of the tunnel and no idea what tomorrow will bring.
We either learn to live with it or f*** it off, one is achievable, the other isn't.

A few clubs waiting on test results to clear players
Some grounds will be touch and go too I'm told

Listed as draws for the 2nd Grade and 4th Grade games.
Can’t be COVID related as 1st and 3rd Grade playing at Port’s home grounds.
Something wrong with Uni ovals maybe??

Correct. Northern did not put covers on. Protest been lodged to get full points.
Not good enough to say “we did not think it was going to rain” Compulsory for 1st Grade matches that covers are put on. WT needed to win to have chance for Semi’s of One day comp, draw not enough. Hopefully with the umpires evidence should get favourable result.
Problem is Busbridge is ex Northerns and best mates with Cosi so see if he has any credibility after this. Why have a rule if Clubs are not going to be penalised for not doing the right thing!
Going to be many matches affected due to COVID reasons, can’t have games called off also due to slackness of Clubs!
