So F**********ING typical of Spurs - threw it away in the last minute.

Goal to Torres and it's a 2-2 draw.

Ordinarily, getting a point at Anfield is a decent result, but when you're 2-1 up and all over Liverpool, you expect full points! Only Tottenham could get a point at Anfield and still leave their fans disappointed!

I am really starting to understand football hooliganism!

Liverpool should have had the three points wrapped up in the first half an hour DA, to be fair. Why Voronin chose to cut it back to SG when he would have probably scored himself, only he will know.

A plucky performance from Tottenham and they will continue to climb up the table, but Liverpool's defence has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in a matter of a few weeks.

Must win match at Goodison in a fortnight.

Agree Liverpool were on early, but went to sleep and lost the plot.

Everton aren't in great form themselves, so you'd expect Liverpool to at least get a point there. Love the merseyside derby - always a fiery encounter.

Wish this international break was over though - bring on Champions League next week!

Bulldog - NEVER punt on the Spurs - they break your heart an take your money!!!

Reds have struggled to even take a point from the last few Derby's ... Hopefully Pepe's nightmare's of his Goodison howler last season spur him onto greater heights in 9 days time.

Derby day over here today.

Mersey side derby at Goodison for the early game. Toffees up 1-0 at half time. Absolute howler by Hypia slamming the ball into his own net. Looked striker-esque in his finish. Reds are struggling after a decent start. Can't see them getting anything out f the game from here.

In the Glasgow Derby it's Rangers 2-0 up in the 68th and ALL OVER Celtic. Go you Rangers!

Penalty!!! Hibbert off for dragging down Stevie G in the box to deny a shot on goal. Kuyt converts the spot kick and it's 1-1 with Toffees down to 10 men.

Interesting to see the ref pull out a yellow, but put it back and pull out the red after petitioning from Stevie G.

Liverpool starting to take over now. Great chance for Riise from great play by Kuyt.

DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA - Scramble at the Everton goal mouth with the ball being hit towards the open goal and Phil Neville saved the ball with his hands earning an instant red. Kuyt converted from the spot and Liverpool will take 3 points. Tim Howard guessed right, got a hand to it, but it still let it through.

Final seconds, penalty claim for Everton waved away by the ref for a foul on Lescott by Carrager who tackled him to the ground AFL style. Everton rightfully outraged. DISGRACEFUL display by the ref in this game - absolute SHOCKER.

Still, Liverpool take the points. Great game.

Rangers 3 - Celtic 0

Should of been a penalty to Everton with 3 seconds to go ...
2-1 full time to the reds..

Yep, you're right though, Liverpool should have been 3 or 4 up though with wasted chances.

Few questions remain over Liverpool I think:

1. What the hell was Rafa eating? Tongue was as red as Riise's hair.
2. Why did Rafa take off Gerard? Fair enough he played midweek, but so did 8 other Reds players.
3. How does Sissoko get a game in the premier league?
4. They don't look nearly as dangerous without Torres. I had my doubts about Torres at the beginning of the season, but he's all class, and Liverpool need him on the park.

At the end of the day, Liverpool had got the points and are back on track for now. Must win in Besiktas midweek in the CL.

1 - If he's not eating Riise's hair he should be tearing it out.......VERY overated player and is probably his last season with the reds.

2 - Strange decision, maybe our low ranking in europe at the moment has something to do with it and he is saving him for Besiktas on wednesday.

3 - Sissoko is hopeless....can't pass,, dodgy tackler,,, all he does is run..

4 - Torres is injured but likely to play wednesday,,, voronin needs to be a bit more selfish and kuyt has the workrate of Ian Rush (try and be the 1st line of defence)...

Crouch on bench again,,, pity, has a good record, not sure why he doesnt get more of a gig,,, might be sold in January.

Penalties even themselves out though,,, we had 1 against Chelsea and another the week after that shouldn't have been given.

1. Riise's miss was very ordinary. Stevie G would have nailed that one (although on current form - Wed nite - maybe not!)
4. Kuyt is a great player IMO. You're right, even when he's not on, he's chasing and working his balls off.

And on the penalties, you're absolutely right. Win some, lose some and if any team deserved one to go their way, it's Liverpool this season. Over the years the human error in decision making by refs evens itself out IMO, but it sucks like hell at the time.

Anyhoo, other results:

Manu 4 - Villa 1 - United came from behind via a brace from Rooney (who's on fire at the moment, but also missed a penalty) a goal that will be awarded to Ferdinand, and Giggs.
The Arse 2 - Bolton 0 - Always going to be hard for Bolton without Anelka. Toure and Rosicky scored for the Frogs.
Wigan 0 - Portsmouth 2 - Mwaruwari and G Johnson scoring for Portsmouth who had all the play.
Blackburn 4 - Reading 2 - As usual this season, Reading = goalfest! MCarthey (brace), Snta Cruz and Kerimoglu for Blackburn with Reading scoring late via brace to Doyle.
Fulham 0 - Derby 0 - SJABC's Rams continue to get points!
M'Boro 0 - Chelski 2 - Drogba and Alex got the points for Chelski. Apparently Boro had some decent chances.

West Ham and Sunderland to play tomorrow with SPURS heading to St James park for the Barcodes on Monday night. COYS!!!

And we scored all 3 goals, even if one was for them.

*Phew* ... The best teams of the EPL in recent seasons have all regularly managed to pull out victories at the death on a regular basis ... We're not there yet but it's a good habit to get into.

Bizarre game, Everton we're robbed of a clear penalty, Liverpool blew many excellent chances on goal and are still playing WELL below our best ... Momo and Masch should never play at the same time as they are too alike and at the moment, it's gotta be Momo who sits out.

Riise can sit out aswell ... Im starting to wonder whether the transfer rumours mightn't be correct because he looked jaded and ordinary last night ... Stevie Finnan had a shocker and Sami is past it, we need a quality new young CB (aswell as Agger).

Some crazy subs made, Gerrard freaked me out at the time and similarly I was pretty happy to see the back of Yakubu .. Pennant on for the last 4 or 5 mins seemed odd aswell.

Red's fans drooling over the look of young Brazilian gun Lucas Leiva .. I'd be happy to see him get more game time particularly in Xabi's absence ... Also continue to be impressed with Babel and think that Voronin nearly always looks a chance around goal.

Tough one next week against an Arsenal side that have no fears about travelling to Anfield.

YNWA!!
