In fact no horse backing up since I started betting at GDP since 1975 has got up.
Everyone of those that have I have risked and they have NEVER EVER won a race [YET !!]
SCD it might work in Victoria and well spotted as it does happen [despite no mention of the losers]
AND
I base all my astute statisical acrumens on GDP trots where it DOES not happen[?]
BAYMAN will no doubt investigate if it has been done at GDP

baracola won at gdp on the friday & broke 2 minutes as an odds on fav leading all the way, then came out the next night & drew 7 sat behind the leader & won at 12/1 thanks to ron bannear as the rest had 9/1 or 10/1![]()

was a bookie at the trots !!!!! As George Harrison once sang " ALL THOSE YEARS AGO .".....
BARACOLA was a good nag
Usually the ones that back up are lower class nags
To see good class horses doing it would be rarity in SA
PS lets not work out the losing horses that have tried it would take too long to post![]()
I wonder what LAWMAN/GREATEST SCOTT/G think of this discussion ?
