Shaving Heads

Postby Wedgie » Tue Oct 09, 2007 12:17 pm

Probably a stupid question but Ive never had to do it before, you blokes that shave you heads, do you use clippers without a comb, do you use a razor and put shaving cream on your head or do you use an electric razor?
Just gave myself a no 1 and my hair's still pink so its shaving time.
Gonna looking shocking too as a in the early 2000s I got chicken pox and constantly scratches my head thinking that scars there would never be an issue. :(

My mate's who are "skin" just use shaving cream and a razer. Could be hard the first time though!

Scars are tough.

LOL. Use clippers without comb. Then use a razor with shaving cream in the shower (nice and warm thanks). Would recommend buying a proper scone shaver, should get one from local chemist or decent supermarket...

Cheers guys, christ there's a webpage for everything these days.
Just started using the clippers with no comb and its almost short enough to get rid of the red/pink, might get away without a razor shave after all.

Now you've trimmed back your hair as short as you can-
1) have a shower (or run your head under warm water)
2) get the shaving cream out
3) get your razors out, & start shaving, remembering to regularly washing out the stubble from your razor
4) check no spots are missed
5) rinse with cold water

We have an Uncle Fester at North too, he's also known as Uncle Tony and that's my first name too so it may get confusing!

Mrs Wedgie doesn't like the bald look but prefers it to the pink or red hair I had before.
Looks as funny as buggery under the pergola out the back where I started the save, it looks like my dog attacked Elmo!
