His Grandmother passed away during the week, he told the club he still wanted to play. Obviously this affected his performance yesterday, and whilst there are still expectations when you play and no doubt he wouldn’t be proud of his game, there needs to be a little bit of perspective here.

That makes a lot of sense, all the best to him and his family Courageous decision to play.

All this talk about Fog is pathetic. Lets face it, he played against probably the worse team we have seen in the AFL since the first year of GWS, they are horrid. Lets see how he goes this week against Demons with May, Lever, etc before getting carried away

True but he was also sent to the reserves earlier this year for his attitude and laziness wasn’t he?

Fogarty and Marshall have almost identical stats across their careers, Marshall just pips him in most category's but only just. Port people spent some time bagging the coaches for picking Marshall but that's now paying off. Given Adelaide's position they just have to keep playing Fogarty regardless of his output. I know I've been super critical of him, to be honest I'm still unsure he makes it, but he's hit 50 games now and looks to be coming of age a bit.

So, question is, with Adelaide's list management under the pump do they make the tough call or the easy call? The tough call is tell Walker his time is up, the easy call is for him to play on, but what does that do to Fogarty, Gollant etc?

I heard one of the new coaches say it’s taken them this whole preseason and the first part of the season to get Fogarty to change the way he plays by stop wrestling and lead instead. It’s really paying off ATM

Impressed with Rankine yesterday. He has some serious speed and made Jona look like he was on a treadmill. Would be a great replacement for R Gray

I believe his resigning with Gold Coast will be announced any day now.

Gil ain’t letting any more talent walk away from the Suns. I’m sure they have a under table “bonus”attached to their contracts

I was surprised to learn he's only 22 (turns 23 this year) & yesterday was his 50th game

The original intent was to get it over the goal line on the first touch, and the second touch. I know it does not pass the pub test but I don't mind that interpretation.

Umpire was right
He kicked it from outside the 9m so would have been a free kick if he didn't chase it down
but he did, he rushed it with no physical pressure as Hogan stopped chasing.

Basically he was ****** either way.

Dry day the ball doesn't skid and he collects it and plays on
