JOBBY has had a rare slip in his Division I campaign this year as Alaska's Coro Crocs scored the victory in last weekend's match of the round. A win over the league leaders at this stage of the season means that the Crocs' have almost secured the double chance that you need for a genuine crack at promotion into the Premier League, or in the Crocs' case, back into the premier league. In this league the ladder is all over the place. Teams like The Willies, PorterGUNS and Petracca's Picnics that looked like certain finalists not that long ago are no scrambling a little with only The Willies still in the eight.
Meanwhile, teams like Eddieslittleindians and Jay Jocks have resurrected their season and now they are genuine top eight contenders. Cowpokes had a wonky period and they are back in the hunt also although they did slip up this week. In the relegation battle it looked like Crows and Crowmag were gonners but both sides have fought hard to stay in this league and now it's The Dukes who are suddenly in the red zone. Hips Don't Lie and Jims TigerRoos have found something when needed so now it is anyone's guess who goes down to Division II next year.
Teams looking good at the moment are still JOBBY despite his loss, Coro Crocs and the ultra-consistent Pool Swimmers. Yet another former Premier League team Poon Army is also sneaking along a bit under the radar as they made light work of Cub's Petracca's Picnic. Buckets are looking pretty good too so I reckon there might be a maximum of two spots up for grabs, but only one if The Willies can turn around his recent mini-slump.
Grand finalists to Premier league, bottom two relegated.
