Bemoaned the treatment of the club in relation to the Adelaide Council, Parklands Preservation society, previous Marshall government. Sounded a little entitled it must be said, as if the normal planning rules don't apply to the biggest sporting group in the state.
he and KG will represent a portion of the supported base in near despair at the landing place for the Crows. But in the fullness of time, Thebarton may well be more than adequate for what they need, and all the alternate sites will be forgotton. Probably not a fantastic location in terms of traffic and transport, but it is mainly a training facility and it appears to be a large enough parcel of land.
I've just had a bit of a look at the proposed facility, does indeed look world class.
Thing is, has it been designed for the football program or the football program and the customers? Methinks those who are upset about it know the customers are being left out. No surprise, they've been ignored for 30 years.
How have they been left out? Because they can't drink alcohol?
You have no club. No home. No base. West Lakes is and has always been for the players and admin, what have the fans ever had as their own? As somewhere to celebrate, commiserate?
It's the reason you're a franchise and not a club.
