bonanza pizza at the craigmore shops has the best pizza around. Its so good that while i was in the craigmore chicken shop (also very good, but a little expensive for some things) one of the workers walked in with a party size bonanza pizza. I dont know if its bcause they are sick of chicken and chips, or because they also reckon they do the best pizzas..........anyone else have a favourite pizza shop?

Yes, Craigmore Pizza Bar has won many awards over the years. The Grotto in Norwood makes lovely Duck pizzas but I love to make my own at home with a Lebanese flat bread base & a Garlic, Chilli & Tomato sauce. Cheap & delicious!

As I said earlier, Lumpy's Pizza Pit, Hampstead Rd Broadview.

Nano's in Hutt St also make a sensational lunch pizza.

Subway can be a trap if you get sucked in to thinking anything from there is healthy. There's a chicken parmy thing they do that I have never touched! Looks great but it has to be as bad as a Whopper. Ditto the meatball one.

Just follow the advice of the guy in the ad and Subway is OK - remember too the 6 grams of fat rolls have to be plain bread and NO cheese or sauces! Even I have to go the cheese and tomato sauce .....

Man, if I have one bad meal I seem to weight 1 kg heavier within 2 days these days  Remember being 19 and eating whatever I wanted these days another story :(

AG - mate that diet is a shocker  in all seriousness that's not doing you any favours. Home cooking is not as hard as it seems. Get a steamer and put some fish and veggies in it for 10 minutes are you're done is one tip!
In between signatures .....

Gastronomus Incredibelus!
I would love to live in somebody else's body for a little while and eat like this. Then after a couple of weeks or so be able to abandon it for my own again. I tend to indulge in one big meal a day, usually lunch, I have to keep the other two meals down to size, otherwise I'd look like the fat foreigners I see walking around this country. You get used to living around thin people you tend to do as they do.
When I return to Australia and see all the rolly polly people hobbling around it gives me an itchy laughing feeling. But the best was when I passed through San Francisco Airport one day, strewth I never seen such an array of tremendously fat people in all my life. Honestly, I began a count, and at least 60 percent of people that were walking around were fatter than I, and I weighed about 100 kgs on a 176cm frame at the time.
Sorry I got side-tracked there.

Pat's Pizza on Morphett Road Warradale for take-away/delivery. Been there for decades, you know they're doing something right.

Amalfi's on Frome Road or Mamma Carmela's at Glenelg for eating out. Divine.

wcp does make a nice stew.... some of the green ingredients raised my eyebrows a bit tho!!!

i get tired and you just take the easy option of grabbing a couple of combo's..... go home and relax on the couch in front of foxtel..... (you also get a 600ml soft drink at some locations... which i like...)
I do look for vouchers MT.... the HJ's 2 for 1 whopper is a beauty..... especialy if you have 2 of them.... you end up with 3 whoppers for dinner and 1 for supper for $8.90.... v is for value.... but this means you have to skip the fries...Where do u get your vouchers from....

Smorgasboards at the local pub are good.... fast hot food for $12.95..... (I sneak little grub in sometimes, I tell the staff he has eaten.... but I sneak him some)... we both like the icecream machine to....

After a bad day on the punt at cheltenham today.... we will be on 2 minute noodles for a while now anyway....
BL are $1-00-2  thats not even $1-01

SJABC, next time you go there say hi to the owner from the teacher who moved to Mildura (me). I used to live a few doors away (in a flat at the bottom of Burbridge Road) and am well known there. Even told them last holidays that I drove an 800km round trip just to taste their food again!
