I lived a few houses down from my school, was always fun when you seen a teacher pullup out the front, I'd leg it over the side fence and bolt down the road as I heard the door open.

When the conductor or bus driver pierced them?

I remember:

Bus driver "How old is your son?"

Mum "He's 4"

Me "No I'm not, I'm 6"

No trifle for me that day.

Yeah, 15 at the gate and then walk straight to the bar.

Use to do that at the races.

Never forget the day I was in the bar at Morphettville having a bet with a pint in hand ((16 years old) and my maths teacher walks in. After a brief discussion he bought me a pint.

Always a buzz seeing a teacher while you were out on the piss.

We had a relief teacher that was in a pretty good cover band back in the day, he was pretty much permanently stoned, absolute to bloke, we used to see him out and about, he didn't mind shouting some beers, Rob Velinoff his name was.

Was out at Heaven as a 16 year old with a couple of mates, bumped into one of science teachers who was kicking goals, nek minnit my mate disappears with her, he was as happy as a pig in shit when we seen him next on Sunday arvo!!

Went to Craigmore High.......one teacher has now become a well credentialled stand-up comedian in the state.

We played a lot of soccer with him at our local club and would see him at The Village Tavern every Thursday Night (sidenote remember when a mate took a female teacher home from The Vill one night....Friday at school was very entertaining to say the least)

Anyway the teacher was also our PE & Health teacher....walked into class, saw half of us were his teammates and said 'well lads you have seen me at my best off field....there is nothing i can teach you about health so this will just be a PE class...want to play soccer?)

School Bus L as run by Adelaide Metro.

Used to go east up Payneham Road, right up Portrush Road, left up Kensington Road (and then would somehow make it to St Ignatius senior campus).

Used to get quite a melting pot of Mary Mackillop, Loreto, Marryatville and St Ignatius students on the same bus. More than a few smelly fingers if i recall correctly,

I got him to do a bit of a cameo at our club when we had an interlude between guests, I reckon it was the Greg Ritchie show.

Did his stage name end up being something neighbourhood or something alike?
