On Fox, we have the 1977 VFL Grand Final.

Who the hell is the commentator with Lou Richards.

Tipping North to get up here.

Can I take my chromecast away and whack in the TV where I'm staying so I can watch Prime, Netty & Kayo?

You can provided you have a decent wifi to hook into.

For all the hassle i would just watch through a laptop personally.

My work laptop won't allow it.

It's not that much of a big deal, it was a passing thought as regular TV is puss and incase the weather is shithouse.

Work laptop won't allow a hotel wifi? That's odd.

It was the first ever live telecast of a grand final. Not sure if it was the first live telecast of a game. Perhaps.

I reckon it would've been the first league match to have been telecast live and in full.

Sports fees:
My daughters basketball fees have gone up 60% this season.
The club has said it has absorbed them for so long and now has no choice but to increase.

I’m all for increases to keep clubs afloat but 60%?

Anyone else had their sports fees increased due to Covid or other factors by that much recently?

60% sounds a lot but it depends on the original price. $10 to $16 isn’t huge but $500 to $800 is

How can they justify an increase that big? Do they own their own stadium and need to pay the power bill to keep the court lit up?

Yeah similar experience with my kids, (not 60% tho). now $955 pa each kid. We’re being told it’s mainly to cover court hire costs. Its basically a year round thing so that softens the blow a bit.

Did the clubs senior teams go up a division?
I know in Soccer, the junior fees are dependent on what league the senior teams are in to be able to pay the players accordingly

Your probably all over it but make sure you use the government sports vouchers if your child is eligible.

I had heard since they went from $50 - $100 per child a lot of clubs threw up their prices.
