I've just got the 2 disc DVD of Ken Branagh's full text version of Hamlet (4 hours)...taken 10 years for it to be made available on DVD. I'm fairly certain this isn't to everyones taste   but I love it...so it's a few glass of Shiraz and a heap of munchies...I really should think about getting a life haha

Cheers...sounds good...I'll look out for that one. I've just got a Jacaranda Hill...it's from SA but it's just cheap plonk for guzzling in front of the tv . It made for an interesting web search...apparently gimp also means 'girls in movie peril' :?

haha...my location would make me ask Stepney who ?????? From what I can tell it's made by MaClaren Vale which I have heard of...surprisingly we do have one wine merchant here so I'll have a look next time I'm in town and you never know even the supermarkets over here have some fairly up market wines these days.

Heehee...can't wait...bit early to start on the red here...only 1050 am.

Ah Shane macGowan...what a hunk  I don't mind some of their stuff...loved 'Fairytale of New York' with the late, great Kirsty MacColl.

Never mind tonight...what about the next 4 months :(

Once the RWC ends I'm in a sporting wilderness until the Six Nations starts in february. I suppose if desperation sinks in I could start watching some shinty as that always gets televised up here. For anyone who doesn't know it's hockey without rules...always good for a few concussions amongst players and spectators and it's better than trying to watch snooker

Sorry but this gal just can't get into soccer...tried many times over the years but alas the more I see the more I dislike it...same with League I'm afraid. Had a look at the BBC web site and I think I can look forward to soccer, golf, snooker, league and bowls :( for the next few weeks (haha sorry Wedgie the bowlsmeister I can't watch televised bowls). Maybe if I'm lucky we'll get televised bog snorkling this year

With no footy on tonight, I wandered through Glasgow's west end drinking horrendously overpriced beer (4 pounds 50 for an effing Leffe blond! Keeee-rist!) and eating fish & chips with mushy peas.

Get to the chippy in St Enoch Square Psuedo.

You will not regret it! Just look out for the seagulls - about the size of a horse around that square.
