Jeremy Finlayson's partner Kellie Gardner and the card she's been dealt. No justice in this life.

Yep so unfair.

The number of deaths on the roads so far this year.
You see the stories on the news and as the days pass you forget about it, however, it really hits home when you know of one of the people involved, you read the tributes from family and friends online and see how it impacts the lives of so many people, directly and indirectly in some form.
Be safe everyone.
Trust the process.

Having to euthanize our beautiful Boxer x American Staffy this morning. He was the wife's dog but f*** its hit me harder than I thought it would. I think the hardest thing was because we're having him cremated we had to leave him with the vet.

I knew today was going to be tough but it's going to be nothing short of an emotional struggle.

I've already had a few come and say their goodbyes and tear up in the process, I think I'd rather one swift goodbye to everyone as I leave for the final time.

It's a reflection of how much they value their relationship with you mate and by the sounds of it those relationships will last for a long time, regardless of where you go to work.

Some it will be like cousins at a funeral, we always say we should catch up more but only ever do when someone dies, we've ran out of uncles and aunties to die, we'll be the next lot.

I have organised periodic catch ups with a fair few though, being only 500 metres away we've got like every 3rd Friday of the month lunch dates and some after work thingy's.

I'm leaving on very good terms with most, that is important to me.

Happy for them that they've been able to marry and enjoy their day, incredibly sad they've had to bring the event forward as they have. F*ck cancer.

The reality of 3-4000 itinerants (long grassers) sleeping rough in Darwin each night 400 of them at the local shopping centre (Casuarina) carpark.

What's that mean in reality to the good burghers of Adelaide? Given greater Darwin and Palmerston (120K) is roughly 10% of the population of Adelaide and Elizabeth/Noarlunga (1.2 Mill) that is equivalent of 1000 people a night sleeping rough in each of Colonades, Marion, Burnside and Elizabeth shopping centres car parks

another 25 - 35 000 people sleeping rough across the city wherever they can, "you got dollar Cuz, I'm hungry...."

We got a problem, 'Straya
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
