You’d hate to be playing a drinking game where you had take a drink every time a commentator mentioned that Norwood oval:

- was narrow
- is short
- has a wall
- is historic and unique
- the crowd is on top of the action.

You’d be dead already

Geezus, just added up our beer and food (1 hotdog and 1 chips) bill from yesterday at Adelaide Oval.
$280
That doesn't include our pre-match drinks at the Casino! (Or lunch,2 ubers or tickets)
All added up to about $600 for a day at the footy!

Looking at the review, we can see the St Kilda player does not touch the ball until a metre past the line. You were closer to the ball than he was.

2 K a game each. That’s 36 k per round plus for many airfares and hotel rooms.

What a complete and utter waste of money this cohort is.

As I type the peanut does it again.

Good point. I think my frustrations are vented at the individual but the system has its share of the issue as well.

If the clubs said to the league as a united group that we would be happier if you got rid of the score review and get back to the goal umpires just making the call then we (ok me) could move on. I am not against a “captains call” for the clanger. Get one, keep it if correct, encourage the umpires to make the decision;.

After all, they were put into the game to make the call from the best position.

Great last half Collingwood/Hawthorn

Hawthorn got some great young talent on their list. if they can keep them, will go places in a season or 2

I have a more drastic approach, kind of like soccer. If it's kicked and is touched but still goes through the big sticks, it's a goal (the opposition weren't good enough to stop it). Same goes for touched in the field of play. Take it away from the Muppets

I will blame the umps for the blatantly obvious decisions they review wasting 90odd seconds.

Not so much the system, but the instruction from the AFL.
You know after last years debacle they would have instructed the goal umpires to review everything they feel is a close decision.
That said, I cannot believe the one above got reviewed.
