SANFL UNDERAGE
COMPETITION REVIEW
The SANFL wishes to advise that a review of the existing underage structure is currently
being undertaken following consultation with all nine League clubs.
Further research is being carried out with a view to holding another forum on this very important issue in
the early part of next year.
A decision regarding the 2009 underage competition structure will be made by the end of June 2008.
It has been agreed by all parties that there will be no change to the existing Under 17 and Under 19
competition structure for 2008.

Because I thought it would make the site look more professional by starting a new thread with the correct information, than by perpetuating a thread that contains incorrect information.

I admit I don't know all the facts of our u17s / u19s comps but at face value I would have thought having one u18s comps is cheaper for the SANFL clubs and better for our juniors to line up with the National u18s

I am sure someone closer to the action than me will explain it if I am off the track

As mentioned on other thread AFL also considering position and U18 TAC Cup could possibly be moving to an U19 competition.

Thus silly to move to U18 when they may be moving to our structure of U19.
