It was a “premeditated” non call.

Haven’t seen a clearer 50m infringement in a while

I’m reserving my judgement until we see the results of the Royal Commission.

Correct, it was the 12 other non-calls.

Didn't see the second half.
But you guys are great judges of rubbish umpire calls so I'll take your word for it?

No way we should've won that no way.
First half north had all the luck and the play and we looked in shock.
Must've been a solid comeback from nearly 10 down.

They've never had more to think about while on the field. AFL need to strip back the rules and interpretations, eliminate the stand rule, bring HTB back to the basics of prior opportunity, and we will see better umpiring

I feel dirty for saying this but I don’t mind Timmy G. He was pretty scathing of Marshall’s efforts yesterday and has called for him to be dropped. Not having seen much of the game is the criticism warranted or not?

I only saw the last q, what happened to Marshall in front of goal? lost all confidence.
Could have easily got in front with all the shots early in the last but too inaccurate.

To be fair the goal kicking must have been horrific. I don’t think you will see Toby kick 0.5 too often

His post season hip surgery was more serious than expected and he only got up and going in the last few weeks of the preseason and is it showing. He's got no confidence at all, he's playing further up the ground initially covering for Dixon's lack of mobility and Georgiades/Lord coming back form injury and he's all a kimbo. Needs to go back and find some form, he might just get dropped for Finlayson who was good on the weekend.

Yeah we lost but bloody hell that was enjoyable, seeing the kids play the way they did (they have been playing like this all year) but importantly our senior players have stepped up big time over the last fortnight and that has made a huge difference.

Can complain about the umps but where does that get you? Xerri got a very soft free kick that resulted in a goal so swings and round abouts. Need to be better to defend a lead like that and we will learn more from it than a win, and we need to keep learning.

What pleases me the most is we are not just playing out the season and wasting the valuable development time, excited to watch the back half of the year.

Yep North were dudded with the 50.
But the umps were inconsistent with it all day.
Hate to say it but North are going to be formidable if they stay the Clarkson course.
Everyone having a go at him for subbing Phillips is ridiculous.
He was cooked and never going to run with Nick all day.
Mccreery did a good job on ldu and Sinclair tightened up on Wardlaw. That's where we won it
It's been a while since I've seen our skipper have such a dirty day.

I did find it amusing that Laura Kane has tried to say that the umpire stuffed up and that it should have been play on and not 50m because the umps didn't make any decision   that's 50m all day everyday.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!
