Saw that it was missing.
He was $6.50 at start of the day. I had that as a 2pointer and that bonus point might be very handy at the end

Having been struck down with the spews and squirts the past two days, I had small interest bets on each meeting except WA in just doubles, trebles and a multi.

After not being capable of finding value, literally just had a fling at the stumps.

I had AOJ $7 at Hawkesbury, McLucas $5.20 at Musswellbrook, Jones $4.70 at Ipswich and Mott $3.80 at Bendigo.

Hit a treble and three doubles (McLucas 3-way tie, Jones a tie) but Mott was terrible.

Ironically the smallest bets I'd had on the JC (the treble paid $28.50) but a profitable day again!

I was due some luck after Rodd turned over Bayliss at $17 on Wednesday.

Back on it again.

Heavy meetings everywhere and Port gutter abandoned.

Do the heavy tracks open up to more value - longer priced JC winners?

Carnarvon today will be where I look.
I noticed today and at the Marble Bar meeting that John Kissick is over there. That's the same jock who rode around canberra/Queanbeyan etc??

Correct on Kissick.

Heavy tracks do tend to reduce field sizes too. Can be tricky as stables scratch throughout the day as tracks get downgraded.

Not sure if it suits longer priced JC winners, I think the same principles apply in trying to find value with slow bookies and taking overs as often as possible.

Conservative approach, expect higher points.
Jones 12pts
Stanley 9pts

$1.25 v $5.50.

Appears to be Jones' first trip to Rocky, or if she's been there she hasn't been there much.

Stanley has most of his rides at Rocky with a win % of 22% and a place % of 49%.

I was on Jonesy yesty but its 700km to Rockhampton. Wouldn't be diving into the shorts, particularly with travel issues that can emerge.
