Fraudmantle.

Not sure on the contract situation but Longmuir's job would have to be up for discussion you'd think.

2013 was the last time Carlton won their last game of the season.

Pretty sure they normally give the 1-4 teams the first 2 games so the loser gets more break the next week?

I hope they're wrong, Saturday afternoon would suit me better but if I have to book a Friday off work because I'll be in the slammer, then so be it.

Anyway the AFL are officially releasing the draw tomorrow morning.
Can't see the Sydney game being Friday night as there is a NRL game at Accor.

I don't think the Swans game would affect the 12 people who go watch the NRL

Round 7? Just holding off until finals were mathematically impossible? :D

Thursday nights suck arse, ahh well, at least it gives us an extra day's break before losing to the Dogs or Hawks and an excuse to have a Friday work free.

Clearly the AFL don’t care about Cats supporters attending the game.
Should be a Saturday arvo or Saturday night game

Bit of a mess but I believe Sydney requested to not be Thursday night. So had to be the other qualifying final then to maximise rest for the higher placed teams.

Where it gets messy is Syd requested the Friday night game but if 2 v 3 is Thurs, then 6 v 7 has to be the next day to not allow 2 extra days rest for the loser of 2 & 3.

The dogs unhappy, had a big Friday night planned at their redeveloped oval for their first Womens match there.

What i don't get though, is surely Bris & Carlton should be Sat arvo to allow Carlton (if they win) to be able to fly home that night. Makes no difference for Sydney & GWS to play day or night I wouldn't have thought?
