Steps like
1.Appoint a Coach who won't take crap from the players.
2.Appoint a Coach who will cut club favourites for poor form or team balance.
3.Appoint a Coach who won't tolerate interference from the Board and past-players.
4.Appoint a Coach who can take the club into the finals for the first time in a generation.
5.Appoint a Coach who will be a handy scapegoat if interfering board members, past-players and supporters get paranoid over the prospect of success and white-ant him until he is sacked 3/4 way through a season.
Sounds like a great plan. Wonder why we haven't tried it before?
Spelly can you list the names of coaches sacked from each club during a season.
3 I can think of: Don Scott, Ken Sheldon, Rob Pyman.

You're right! Woodville won premiership after premiership after that! And then folded...I mean amalgamated & since then, 1/2 the supporters don't go to the footy anymore 'coz they've still got the sooky sooky la-las & the others still bitch & moan about what happened & try their darndest to denounce what happened. All went rather well.
