It’s reality. The situation is hopeless and one of the main reasons I’ve distanced myself further from the comp each year. Binned membership already and probably won’t go to any games next year and hardly watch any games anymore.
Plenty of other things to do on weekends for me

We don’t have to re-sign him. He has a 1 year extension already thanks to a trigger in his contract.
He wants an extra year and I don’t think we are keen on giving him that.
His options are that he takes the 1 year extension and leaves next year or backs himself in to get another extension.
Otherwise he can ask for a trade and we get a pick from someone like Sydney.
I really don’t see Jake leaving Melbourne TBH
