clearly you don't pay attention to the grade cricket scores in the paper on mondays. Choco has always been able to bat just never in first class cricket. Finally he gets his shite together for 1 innings but I will reserve my judgment until he can string several performances together to hold his place in the team more permanently.

Well done Redbacks. Road or not, this innings by the lower middle order could rejuvenate the whole year for SA. Some of the top order players must be well and truly over the efforts of Manou, Harris and Dizzy. Sure conditions were tougher but Cosgrove and Adcock in particular need to be able to adjust their game and dig in when necessary.

The problem is, how many is Punter going to make on this track?
