I'm understanding your dislike for the count, he'll be a deserved winner but at least other awards have better monetary value.

The Brownlow will always be the umpires award, it would be better if they voted after viewing the game too, at least that way they can re-evaluate their selections rather than go by names.

Why they have to interview Cripps with six rounds to go, then go back to him two more times, just cringeworthy stuff. Going to speak to him when count finishes. Then read the last two rounds that bloody quickly, just terrible by Channel 7

Can't complain too much, Bont ripped off at least 8-10 votes but at the end of the day had too many team-mates to steal votes from him.

Loved seeing Butters and Serong poll so well and I think I had Neale up there because he traditionally polls well.

Had a 13 legger paying a heap where my only failure was thinking Bont would poll 25.

Cripps is the complete package as a footballer, I hope he wins a flag at some stage.

Credit where credit is due, he must be a cracking bloke on the field too as well as a great leader, surely the umps take all facets into consideration, there are 4 of them to decide 3 who to give only 3 votes to, surely there's a fair bit of discussion post-game
