This mob go alright, I don’t think I’ve seen any side go down by 10-15 and consistently get themselves back in the game within 5-7 mins. If they can get the defensive side tightened they’d be bloody hard to beat.

Cairns beat Melbourne again. Six of the last seven. And four in a row in Melbourne.

The Tasmania v Perth game is pure junk.

But it is close so the tension is there.

Scott who?

Another good win.

It was always going to take time to gel under Wells but he’s shown he’s the man for the job.
Early days after losing the 1st 2 games but really good signs again last night.

Normally if we’re not at our best we lose so playing below par and winning is a good sign.
Agree only going to get better though.

Even in the first 2 games we looked ok, just needed to tighten up defensively. When Martin returns and if we keep Harrell our team will look ridiculous. They play a bloody good brand of basketball to watch.

I think today's game in Melbourne will really let us know if the Sixers are legit or not. Cooks was playing ill and Adams got injured last game against Sydney. Vickerman is IMO the best coach in the business and even though he doesn't have quite the level of talent he normally has at United he always demands maximum effort and great defence. Melbourne lost their last game at home against Cairns, I would be a bit surprised if we win today.

Terrible news for Mike Kelly great guy but 0-5 start after bottom last season so to be expected.

Sam Mackinnon taking over as interim coach.

Tough ask but this is the type of game we need to win early on to setup our season.
Talent wise we match them or better them it’ll come down to our defensive efforts.
