Gozu wrote:I think today's game in Melbourne will really let us know if the Sixers are legit or not. Cooks was playing ill and Adams got injured last game against Sydney. Vickerman is IMO the best coach in the business and even though he doesn't have quite the level of talent he normally has at United he always demands maximum effort and great defence. Melbourne lost their last game at home against Cairns, I would be a bit surprised if we win today.

Terrible news for Mike Kelly great guy but 0-5 start after bottom last season so to be expected.

Sam Mackinnon taking over as interim coach.

Some good points regarding Sydney. Adelaide still are finding their groove and still don’t have the 3rd import playing. Looking forward to seeing how they go.

I don’t watch much basketball at all but thought I would try and jump on the 36er hype.

Forgive my ignorance but I’m the only one who doesn’t buy into the Hurrell mania. Has a hell of a highlight real each match but is lazy in transition, unless a highlight is on the end of a possession is generally lazy and his body language towards his team mates is awful.

Happy to be corrected.

He does look lazy at times but many NBA players are the same however he constantly gets to the right spots.

Go back and watch Fridays game if you want to see his value.
