CNN and MSNBC just need to let it go and call the election.

The more you look at the numbers, the worse it is for Harris ... she underperformed in some of the Dem’s strongest States.

The Dems now have to swallow their pride and do everything they can to handover power to Trump as per normal protocol and not play any stupid games in Congress on Jan 6.

I’ve put in an urgent request to Foxtel to allow users to delete channels …. Channel 608 is now banned until I can delete it.

You lot have literally cried and bitched about it being "rigged" for the past four years?

Maybe this was rigged. Maybe the democrats should storm the capital. Nah, they aren't idiots.

The double standards from maga on twitter and other Trump supporters are hilarious.

Currently, Trump has approx 71 million votes to 65 million for Harris.

In 2020, it was 81 million for Biden and 74 million for Trump, so the total turnout this time is approx 18 million down on 2020.

Faaarked if I know how to explain it :-??

After today Anthony Albanese may as well pack his bags. If Labor don’t boot him before the next election it’ll be a miracle. Trump will chew him up and spit him out given his past comments.

2 things I wondered today:

Who would Australians vote for if they were to choose between Trump or Kamala as their prime minister?

And would a male, white candidate have defeated Trump today?

Funnily enough the left will continue to dictate global society, Trump or no Trump.

Like most of this campaign, Kamala is nowhere to be seen.
Pretty poor form for her not to concede tonight.

I would hope that we wouldn’t have let someone like a Trump anywhere near a such a candidacy, and indeed, would have a justice system that would have long convicted him of multiple crimes.

That said, I assume your question is what Australians would have done in the same situation, then I’d be both amazed and appalled if we voted the same way.

With regards to the 2nd question, I guess as the only person to defeat him was a white male, maybe it would have made a difference, but in a nation where up is down and down is up, who knows?

Yep, that did surprise me. It was evident that she had a very slim chance of winning when her spokesman announced that she would not be making a statement last night.

I would hope and expect that she does the right thing by contacting Trump to congratulate him and publicly acknowledge that he has won … and do it as practicable as possible this morning.

It is only 7am Eastern now.

It also has to be said that despite not understanding how they could possible elect him again, hate to say it, but the fact that it is a decisive victory is probably a good thing.

The Dems are probably feeling like someone who was legless drunk the night before and then being confused when they wake up this morning because their arse is sore, with absolutely no idea how it happened.

Also, despite it being in the balance, it would also be a good thing if the Dems flip the House, however unlikely that may be at the moment.

And as a bonus it would be a formal vote as a write-in candidate.
