We shall see what negotiations take place after Kohli's detour today...

32 overs taken off the ball so far, all good from an Australian perspective.

Imagine if the indians lose this test
and
Kohli got games

this would be the last test of the summer

FFS, frustrating dismissal.
Bumrah doesn't excute correctly, bowls a bad ball yet still gets a wicket! He can't not get wickets.

Oh well, a good platform placed for the middle order by firstly Konstas getting the team off to a flyer runs wise and then Khawaja batting time starting to wear the bowlers down.

All banter aside and who knows what will happen in the future

But it was great to see the Aussies give a genuine young bloke a crack and then watch him come out and stay true to himself and not be overwhelmed by a situation.

Even the end of over pump up to the crowd, the drinks break interview ‘can’t wait to Bumrah comes back on’

He put a lot of smiles on a lot peoples faces, test cricket can do with that.

There is going to be plenty of ducks in there and a dropping from the side or two, he could do well spending a bit of time with Travis Head but geez the good times are going to be fun to watch.

I thought that was a good shout and was going to be a worthy review from India on that LBW decision, it looked very close live yet ball tracking had it missing leg stump by a more than what I expected. India down to just one review.

I hope this is an armchair_expert like prediction, but I can't see Head scoring much this time, just based on the top three scoring half centuries and Smith into the 30s. Like it's not his turn this time.

And now a similar one, India honing in on Smith's front pad but the ball is doing too much.
